New SPRING 2013 Order Open!

Here are the new price lists for the SPRING 2013 Walton Feed Group Order!

Here is the email I just sent out to everyone on my email list.

Hooray! I finally have this done! Walton Feed put out a new price list on Friday, so I have been working hard to quickly get this to you. I have had tons of emails and phone calls about the next order! I'm glad y'all are thinking of your food storage and being prepared! All are welcome to join our order!

ATTACHED
There are 3 forms attached. (Please email me to receive attachments.)

1 - The PDF Price List is printable and for your convenience. (I am sorry about the weird formatting and gray bar on this. It is not on my original document, but it happened when I turned it into a PDF. I'll try to fix it, but for now, use this is really need it.)

2 - The Excel Price List is what you should use to turn in your order. All you have to do is fill out the contact information in the top left corner, then type in your quantities. Your order total and weight will automatically be added up at the bottom of the page. Save this to your computer, then you can attach it to an email and send it in to your group leader!

3- What Should I Store PDF - I have attached a form that states recommended foods and amounts. The first page shows a year supply of basics for one person. On the second page I broke it down to a one month supply for one person to help it seem more do-able. This is a great page to copy and use as a handout! The third page is more info and comments if you care to read them. May you be blessed as you work on your food storage and family preparedness. : )

DEADLINE
The deadline for everyone to have their orders turned in to their group leader is APRIL 3, 2013! Group (or Stake) Leaders need to have their orders to me no later than APRIL 8th. Please follow the deadlines that your group leader gives you! Their deadline for you might be different so they have time to meet my deadline of April 8th. Delivery will be in the summer, and will depend on where we are in line once the order is turned in to Walton Feed. We will not have delivery information until the order is figured out and organized and trucks are routed.

GROUP FOOD STORAGE BLOG!!
I have set up this blog for this order! Those who have ordered can log on at any time and see updates and delivery information for this order! This will make it so much easier for all involved! I would highly recommend for everyone who orders, to sign up to receive email notifications when I post a new update. Just type in your email address where it says "Follow By Email" at the top left of this page.

SPREAD THE WORD
There are so many people buzzing about food storage and really wanting to do an order. Would you please try to email it out to anyone who might be interested, and let people know about it. Feel free to share it with neighbors, friends, family, church groups, homeschool groups, etc. With all that is happening in the world, it's a good time to make sure we have our food storage and supplies in order. Thanks for all you do to help others be prepared. I know that we are blessed as we serve each other!

GROUP/STAKE LEADERS
These orders are organized by groups in geographical areas (Stakes). If you need to know who your Group Leader is, please contact me and I will try to get you in touch with the right person.
If you are a past group leader, please let me know if you plan to head up an order this time or not. If you want to start up an order in your area, email me and let me know and I will help you get started. Thanks for all of your time and service to help others get prepared!

This truck will include these delivery locations:

Truck #4 will include Bentonville, AR and Grafton, WV. These orders will be put on a truck with several other orders from other individuals and groups. They are working hard to get it all figured out and to fill the truck so they can ship it. I will send information as soon as I know anything about it.

Please know that I send out updates as soon as I know any information concerning the order. If I have not posted anything, then I do not know anything yet. Thanks for your patience! Have a wonderful week! Melissa : )

Truck #1 to Deliver This Weekend

Hello!

Truck #1 will deliver this weekend. See the previous entry below to see who is on Truck #1. I have sent emails to all group leaders and many of the individuals who have orders on Truck #1 with the exact date, time and location. I would rather not post the exact schedule on this blog for many reasons. Please email your group leader or let me know if you have any questions concerning your delivery.

Information on the other two trucks will come as we get a little closer. Have a Merry Christmas! Thanks! Melissa

Trucks Routed

Hello everyone!

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!

I talked with Walton Feed yesterday and they have figured out which orders will be on which trucks. I will list here what I was told, but please know the dates on these can change because of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. But this is what they would like to do. If anything changes, you will be notified right away. Exact times and dates of your delivery will be given as soon as we have it from the driver. Usually we have that information 7-10 days in advance. We do have a new driver, Kelly, (to replace David who passed away) but I think he will be able to give us the schedule that far in advance like David used to. I've worked with Kelly before and he was wonderful to work with too.

Truck #1
High Point, NC
Gastonia, NC
Cashiers, NC

Truck #1 will leave Idaho on Monday, Dec 10th, and deliver to us starting on Saturday, Dec 15th. This truck has orders on it from another group, and he will be delivering to them first, and then our orders will be delivered after that, most likely on the 15th.

Truck #2
Powder Springs GA
Atlanta, GA
Augusta, GA
High Springs, FL
West Palm Beach, FL

Truck #2 will most likely leave Idaho on Monday, Dec 31st, and start delivering on Jan 3rd. It will take a few days to get all of these orders delivered. The exact schedule will be coming as we get closer.

Truck #3
All of the rest of the orders will be on Truck 3 (except Bentonville, AR) and this truck is tentatively scheduled to leave Idaho on Monday, Jan 14th and will begin delivering on the 17th. It will take through the weekend to finish the deliveries. I will send out the list of exactly who is on this truck when I have everything confirmed with Walton Feed.

This is the tentative schedule for our trucks. More info will shortly come, but I wanted to get this schedule out to you right away. Please email me if you have any questions. I do not answer my phone much during the day because I homeschool my children. Emails are quicker and easier for me and I can do them early in the morning and late at night, or when we have short breaks. Have a wonderful week! Melissa : )

Walton Feed Order Update

Hello Everyone!

DELIVERY ESTIMATION
I'm sorry it has taken a while for the first update. But here is the scoop. We have about 2 1/2 truckloads of food. The first truck will be shipped out the first week of December. It will contain some orders from our group, and some orders from another group that did not have a full truck. The second truck might be sent out mid December. And the third truck will deliver right after the New Year. All of this depends on weather and how quickly they can get their driver back from each delivery. The truck will not come during the Holidays, so don't worry about that. And you will be given plenty of notice of exact time and date of your particular delivery (usually a week to 10 days).

We do not know which orders are on which truck yet. They are routing the trucks, and as soon as I know anything, I will post immediately. I promise!

UPS and LTL ORDERS
I will have shipping quotes on these orders this week. These will be ready to ship right away. I will be emailing you as soon as I know anything about your order.

PAYMENT
If you have not paid for your order yet, please send payment right away. My address is on the bottom of the spreadsheet in the yellow box. Or you can email me and ask for it. Most have paid, but there are still the few that I am hunting down. : ) If using a credit card, please contact me.

THANKS!
I appreciate your patience on this order. With David passing away (our driver for the past many years), Walton Feed's new ordering system (which is nice for the individual, but laborious for large group orders), and a zillion other reasons (curve balls that life throws at us), this order was delayed a few weeks. But it is well on it's way now, and I will be sending updates regularly.

I hope all of you have a wonderful week!

REMINDER! Deadline Approaching!

(This is the latest email I sent out 9/19/12. If you want to be on my email list also, please email me and I will add you to my list!)

Hello!

This is a reminder that the Walton Feed Group Order just has about 1 1/2 weeks left before the deadline!

WHO CAN ORDER?
Anyone, anywhere can place an order with us, or you can start a group order in your area. Please email me for details if you are interested.

DEADLINE
The deadline to turn in orders to your group leader is September 30th. Your group leader might have a different deadline for you. Please follow her deadline.

GROUP LEADER
If you do not know who your group leader is, you can just send your order to me and I will gladly group it with the correct group and notify you who your group leader is.

DELIVERY and BLOG
We are hoping to have at least a few of our trucks delivered before Thanksgiving. We may end up receiving a truck or two in early December, depending on how many trucks we actually fill. We will not have any concrete information until after we turn in our complete group order and Walton Feed can route trucks and make determinations concerning delivery. We usually have several weeks notice of a tentative schedule for each truck, and then we will have 7-10 days notice of exact date and time for each delivery. If you subscribe to my blog, you will receive email notification of delivery schedule updates right as I post them. Just type in your email address where it says "Follow By Email" on the left column.

ATTACHMENTS
There are 3 forms attached. (I cannot attach these to a blog post, so please email me if you need these. macoombs5@comporium.net)

1 - The PDF price list is printable and for your convenience.

2 - The Excel price list is what you should use to turn in your order. All you have to do is fill out the contact information in the top left corner, then type in your quantities. Your order total and weight will automatically be added up at the bottom of the page. Save this to your computer, then you can attach it to an email and send it in to your group leader!

The third page is more info and comments if you care to read them. May you be blessed as you work on your food storage and family preparedness. : )

NEW ITEMS
I almost forgot to mention that there are several new items on the list....Gravies, several Quick and Easy Meals, spice mixes, French Vanilla Almond Granola (yum!), roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato dices, dried golden raisins, storage boxes, clear poly bags, and several more. And of course, the favorites are still there: Freeze Dried Fruits and Vegetables, Freeze Dried Cheeses, lots of different whole grains and beans, Organic Products (now called "Natural"), and a zillion other things! When comparing prices (especially on freeze dried fruits and veggies) make sure you compare how much is actually put into the can! I have noticed that several other companies put much less in their cans (and they won't list how much in in the can!), so keep your eyes open for that!

SPREAD THE WORD

P.S. - SWEET NOTE from someone who accidentally sent this to me instead of her church group. I thought I would share part of it. It is very wise and timely counsel!

...I would like you to prayerfully think about your food storage. The drought is already driving up food prices and so I would really recommend stocking up now before it gets worse. The Church's Cannery Prices have been steadily going up also. I would also recommend stocking your freezer with meat since corn prices drive meat prices and meat prices will skyrocket. If you think they are high now, just wait. I will again hand out on Sunday some of the Church's recommended storage items so that you can more effectively plan for the future and be in line with Church teachings....

I have a testimony of food storage. It has helped my family live more economically on a budget and eat more healthy. When you plan your food storage don't go into debt, but do be diligent that you may attain the prize and follow the Prophet.... Thanks XXXXXXX (name omitted)

Overage Items - Need to Sell!

Hello Everyone!

Please let me know if you are interested in these items.  Email me at macoombs5@comporium.net. Thanks! Melissa : )

Pump N Seals and Tabs
I am no longer going to be selling Pump n Seals and Tabs. They have raised the price outrageously, and I cannot any longer afford to buy the several cases at once they require. I also think the price is too high to continue having people want to buy them.

I have 24 Pump n Seals left, if anyone is interested. They are $28.00 each. I also have many packs of 100+ Extra Tabs for $6.00. I will ship for free.

I know these will go fast, so they are first come, first served.

Wonder Junior Deluxe Hand Mills
I also have 9 Wonder Junior Deluxe Hand Mills that I need to sell. When they were hard to get and constantly back ordered, I bought several. The lowest retail price is $219.95, but I am selling them for $199.95 with free shipping.

Sprout Master Sprouter
I have one Sprout Master Seed Sprouter - Single Kit (1 Tray, 2 lids) for $14.50. Original price is $15.60, but a tip edge of one of the lids broke off when it was dropped. It is a very small break on the very edge. Shipping is free.

Apple Peeler
I have 5 Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicers with a clamp on base. Works great on potatoes too! I will not be putting these on the list any longer. Closing out for $16.99 each with $3.00 shipping. $19.99 total.

Victorio Strainer
I have 2 Victorio Strainers on sale for $55.00. Free shipping. This is wonderful for applesauce, tomato sauce, grape juice, straining berries for jams, etc. Comes with the stainless steel apple/tomato screen and standard spiral. Victorio Strainer Picture
