Preparing for Spring Order

Howdy!

Just wanted to let you know that I am preparing for the Spring Food Storage Order from Walton Feed! They will be putting out their new price list by February 1st, and I will need a day or two to update my price list and will send it out as soon as I can. So be looking for that the first week or so of February. I will probably call it due sometime late March, and we will most likely start getting deliveries in May and continue through June or July until all trucks are delivered. (Of course it just depends on a zillion factors, but that's the general timeline.) So start spreading the word and saving your pennies! 

Delivery Locations
People always ask me where we will be having deliveries....well, that depends on which groups order enough to qualify for a delivery! Your group needs to have a minimum of 2000 pounds to be considered for delivery. That's really easy to get if you spread the word enough. Just think of it like this...2000 pounds is 42 buckets of wheat (or 40 50-pound bags). That's not a lot in reality! You can do it! : )

Group Leaders
If you are interested in being a group leader, please email me. Anyone from anywhere can be a group leader, and it's fairly easy to do. Group Leaders will have the chance to get a little "bonus" and order some free food storage. Please email me for the details if you are interested. (macoombs5@comporium.net)

Delivery Schedule

Hello Everyone!

 

Here is the schedule for the truck delivery. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know right away. And please share this immediately with all of those who have ordered under you. With 10-14 days advanced notice of delivery, I am hoping that everyone will be able to figure something out to get their food. I know it's never convenient, but it's a good thing, and we are blessed to have access to this type of situation to obtain good food! The ease and accessibility might not always be so freely available. Truck is Scheduled

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to give you a head's up the that our order made up one truckload this time, and the truck is scheduled to leave Idaho on October 28th. That means that deliveries will be made probably on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Oct 31, Nov 1 and 2).

We will have a schedule of exact dates and times for each delivery as we get a little closer. 

The  Bentonville Arkansas order will come on a different truck and will deliver next Tuesday, October 22nd. Please communicate with your group leader for time and location. 

We do have a few UPS orders that are ready to be shipped. Group leaders will receive tracking information when the order ships, and will let their group members know when to come get the order.

Howdy!


If you were hoping to get in on this order, but missed the deadline, there is still time!

I can still take orders if anyone is interested. Please email your order to me no later than Monday night (the 23rd) at midnight! Money is due shortly after that...just put it in the mail to me early next week. Debit and credit cards are accepted on orders over $200.00. Just let me know that you want to pay by credit card, and I will get payment information from you.

Please email me if you need the price list. I will not have access to my computer most of Saturday, but will be back on my computer on Sunday.

Please spread the word to anyone who might be interested. At this point, all orders need to be emailed to me, and I will group them with the nearest delivery. Delivery locations have not yet been determined. It depends on where we get orders large enough to qualify for a delivery.

Delivery is expected in October and early November, depending on how many truckloads we have.

This is just a reminder about the Walton Feed Fall Group Order! Orders are due to me September 8th.  Payments are due shortly after that...just get your payment in the mail to me as soon as you can. Checks and Credit/Debit cards are accepted.

The Fall 2013 Order is Now Open!

Walton Feed Group Order is Open!

 

I'm so happy to start this next order, because many people have emailed asking about it! I'm glad y'all are thinking of your food storage and being prepared! All are welcome to join our order!

 

ATTACHED

There are 3 forms attached. (Please email me for attachments because they cannot be attached to a blog!) : )

 

1 - The PDF Price List is printable and for your convenience. It can easily be emailed and people can print their own copy. It is in a PDF format, so anyone can open it, regardless of what kind of computer they have.

 

2 - The Excel Price List is what you should use to turn in your order. All you have to do is fill out the contact information in the top left corner, then type in your quantities. Your order total and weight will automatically be added up at the bottom of the page. Save this to your computer, then you can attach it to an email and send it to your group leader!

 

3- What Should I Store PDF -  I have attached a form that states recommended foods and amounts. The first page shows a year supply of basics for one person. On the second page I broke it down to a one month supply for one person to help it seem more do-able. This is a great page to copy and use as a handout! The third page is more info and comments if you care to read them. May you be blessed as you work on your food storage and family preparedness. : )

 

DEADLINE

The deadline for everyone to have their orders turned in to their group leader is September 1, 2013! Group (or Stake) Leaders need to have their orders to me no later than September 8th. Please follow the deadlines that your group leader gives you! Their deadline for you might be different so they have time to meet my deadline of September 8th. Delivery will most likely be in October and November, and will depend on where we are in line once the order is turned in to Walton Feed. We will not have delivery information until the order is figured out and organized and trucks are routed.

 

GROUP FOOD STORAGE BLOG!!

I have set up this blog for this order! Those who have ordered can log on at any time and see updates and delivery information for this order! This will make it so much easier for all involved! I would highly recommend for everyone who orders, to sign up to receive email notifications when I post a new update. Just type in your email address where it says "Follow By Email".

 

SPREAD THE WORD

There are so many people buzzing about food storage and really wanting to do an order. Would you please try to email it out to anyone who might be interested, and let people know about it. Feel free to share it with neighbors, friends, family, church groups, homeschool groups, etc. With all that is happening in the world, it's a good time to make sure we have our food storage and supplies in order. Lots of people are asking if we can start another order, and I am ready! If we go ahead and do it now, we can make the deadline the first part of September, and receive our food hopefully in October! That would be much nicer than receiving our food near the holidays and when it is so cold! 

Also, there are many people asking if they can start an order in their area (or if their sister can, etc.) The answer is YES! If you know of anyone who would like to start an order in their area (doesn't matter where it is), please have them contact me. There will be a small incentive given to group leaders for this next order. We just got an order started in the San Antonio, TX area and their group is really excited about the opportunity.
